BSc (Hons) Business, Innovation and Enterprise
Having masterminded his own small start-up business during his gap year, Nathan was keen to further improve his enterprising skills and business knowledge by studying Business, Innovation and Enterprise at Edge Hill. During his second year, he completed the Creating Innovation module, which provided him with the opportunity to fully develop a new business idea.
While Nathan was working in the French Alps during his gap year, he saw an opportunity to improve his working experience by creating his own chalet servicing business. This sparked his entrepreneurial spirit, and he embraced the opportunity to fully explore all aspects of business start-up, creating a business plan for his new venture, the Lake District Brownie Company.
Being able to dedicate time and effort into a real business opportunity, whilst also contributing to his academic studies, means that Nathan is now looking forward to launching the Lake District Brownie Company when he graduates.
“This opportunity has helped develop my entrepreneurial ability, providing me with a unique set of skills that I can practically apply to future success.”
