As well as attending every departmental event and volunteering to assist with research projects, Elisha Peers successfully bid for a grant to fund her dissertation and presented her findings at an international conference. 

From BSc to PhD

After graduating from her undergraduate degree in Human Biology, it took Laia just three months to secure a highly competitive, fully funded, four year PhD in Microbiology at the Strathclyde Institute of Pharmacy & Biomedical Science.
