Why not take the Sculpture Trail and discover the University’s beautiful collection of sculptures, faithfully restored and relaunched in 2010, to celebrate the Edge Hill’s 125th anniversary year?

The Sculpture Park was started in April 1989 with eight pieces, and at its height, the park contained over 20 sculptures. Over the years, other works were added, borrowed from sculptors, and some, unfortunately were lost due to deterioration. Today there are 12 items, including the Goat by Tony Evans, the specially-commissioned sculpture situated outside of the Business and Law building, to mark the University’s milestone birthday.

The wide variety of artworks on display is for students, staff, visitors and the local community to experience for free. Sculpture trail brochures are available from the Arts Centre Box Office or Edge Hill Main Reception.

Just a stone’s throw from the Arts Centre, a lake is home to a range of birds and small animals. A popular attraction, a stroll around the lake offers a pre or post show treat for visiting children and families.
