Short Cuts Cinema

Inspired by the name of Robert Altman’s film SHORT CUTS

Short Cuts Cinema is based in the Art Centre’s Studio Theatre. Films are projected onto a seven metre wide screen, accompanied by a Stereo Sound system.

The Short Cuts programme often includes films just released on DVD, and those films you may have just missed first time round at mainstream cinema. Short Cuts Cinema also plays host to Festival screenings such as the Ann Arbor Film Festival, Athens International Digital Film Festival, and the environmental Green Film Festival.

Details of film screenings can be found on our website, and also in the Arts Centre brochure.

Film tickets are competitively priced at £3.50 full price / £3.00 concessions / £2 Edge Hill University students. They can be bought on a first come, first served basis, or booked in advance online or by phone to the Box Office at no extra charge.

The Studio seats 139 and benefits from disabled access and a hearing loop system. Guide dogs are welcome. Please contact the Box Office in advance if you have any requirements that might need assistance.
