VASC Standing Panel

The Validation and Audit Sub-Committee (VASC) is responsible to Edge Hill’s Academic Quality Enhancement Committee for the development, operation and evaluation of the University’s validation, periodic review and internal audit processes. VASC is supported by a Standing Panel of qualified and experienced academic and academic-related support staff who are assigned to individual validation, review and audit panels. Panels are responsible for ensuring that new and existing provision meets nationally-defined standards, complies with the University’s own regulations and provides an appropriate quality of learning opportunities for students. Staff wishing to be considered for VASC Standing Panel membership should complete the application form below:

The 2018 annual conference of the Validation and Audit Sub-Committee Standing Panel took place on Wednesday 5th September and provided the opportunity for panel members to come together and exchange ideas and practice in relation to curriculum development, approval and review.
