The three-storey building includes a 265-seat lecture theatre, seminar and tutorial rooms, and social learning areas which encourage a more informal and interactive style of learning.

Mooting

Find out more about Mooting at Edge Hill University and take a look inside the on-campus courtroom where law students practise their skills. The courtroom is fitted with genuine courtroom furniture acquired from Southport’s former Magistrates’ Court.

Police Training and Simulation

Policing students also have access to a new Training and Simulation Facility, affectionately known as the ‘Crime House’. The Crime House can be used by students to work through policing and law exercises in a realistic domestic setting.
