Before you start at Edge Hill, we know that you will have lots of questions. What better way to find out about life at Edge Hill than from our current students? You can either read our student blogs or join up to our mentoring scheme where you can have a 1:1 conversation with a current student.
Talk 1:1 with a current student
We run an Applicant Mentoring Scheme where current students are ready to help you with anything related to Edge Hill University. You may have specific questions that your mentor can help with, or you may just want to share your excitement about starting university and get some advice about making it through your first few weeks.
The scheme will be opening in early 2019, and we will invite you to sign up by email.
We have a team of current students who write about their experiences at Edge Hill. Everything is covered from on-campus to accommodation to what there is to do in Ormskirk. Click on the links below to start reading!
Anna is in the final year of her BA (Hons) Primary Education with QTS programme, and is originally from Manchester. Anna’s blogs are a great read, but offer a particularly good insight if you are also going to be training to become a teacher.
Ellie is in the final year of her BA (Hons) English Literature programme, and is originally from Blackburn. Her blogs offer a great insight to what life is like as student at Edge Hill.
Sean is in his second year studying BSC (Hons) Computing (Networking, Security and Forensics). Sean is from a small town in the North West of Ireland and has written some great blogs about how he came to be a student at Edge Hill.
