Action on Access is the national co-ordination team for widening participation in higher education. Action on Access supports the development, promotion and enhancement of social inclusion for the broadest possible access to higher education by:

• working with institutions and key stakeholders across the higher education sector
• working with partnerships including Aimhigher
• working to promote inclusive approaches to disability within higher education

Aimhigher Greater Merseyside supports practitioners and programme development by commissioning relevant research and providing support for evaluation.

The Higher Education Academy supports institutions in widening participation and enhancing the learning experience of students from all backgrounds.
