What qualifications do I need?

The qualifications required vary between programmes. You don’t necessarily need to have traditional A-levels as we often consider alternative qualifications or experience through work or volunteering.

If you haven’t got any relevant qualifications to access Higher Education we may be able to help you demonstrate an equivalent standard, through our Fastrack programmes, designed to prepare you for Higher Education and offering progression onto selected degree programmes.

If you aren’t sure if your qualifications are relevant, or would like more information on entry requirements, contact the Pre Entry Advice and Guidance Service.

How do I apply?

Depending on the type of course, you will need to apply through the University Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS), Graduate Teacher Training Registry (GTTR) or direct to Edge Hill University.

Full-time undergraduate programmes generally recruit through UCAS, GTTR is for PGCE programmes only, whilst part-time study is generally applied for direct to Edge Hill.

Our Pre Entry Advice and Guidance Service can assist you with completing your application.
