"As a mature student my experience at Edge Hill University has been amazing!

I’ve been very fortunate during my studies and have benefited from scholarships, the opportunity to visit China and extra module participation through the employability programme. As well as this I have had the chance to work for a variety of University departments on a range of projects.

Edge Hill is set in a great location and is very friendly. I can honestly say I would definitely recommend my BSc Business and Management course, the academic staff are knowledgeable, approachable and helpful, continually demonstrating to the students that they want us to do the very best that we can.

When I started my degree I wasn’t sure which route I wanted to take, but, as well as providing a solid grounding, the first year allows you to discover more about the subjects that can be studied and I chose an International Business route.

Having the opportunity to tailor my studies in this way has allowed me to develop and enhance my understanding of a subject I might not have considered before, which has been really enjoyable.

The course has widened my horizons and I believe I have now have more options ahead of me than I ever thought possible."
