Financial Support - Pre-Registration Health Students
The information below is for prospective students joining pre-registration nursing, nursing and social work, midwifery and operating department practice courses at Edge Hill University in academic year 2012/13.
Please note, tuition fees and financial support arrangements for DipHE Paramedic Practice are still to be confirmed for academic year 2012/13.
When and how should I apply for financial support?
Arrangements for applying for a means-tested bursary and non-means tested grant are still to be confirmed for academic year 2012/13.
Further support may be available through an Adult Dependants' Grant, Childcare Grant or Disabled Students' Allowance, subject to eligibility.

Am I eligible for a student loan?
Nursing, nursing and social work, midwifery and operating department practice degree students are all eligible for a reduced rate maintenance loan for courses starting in academic year 2012/13.
You need to download a PN1 application form (the application form for student funding) and related guidance notes from www.direct.gov.uk/studentfinance. Please note, applications can take 8-10 weeks to process.
