Education Open Evenings

The Faculty of Education's portfolio of programmes reflects the national drive to ensure that the highest quality professionals are working with the country's children and young people.
You can find out more about the faculty's courses at open evenings held throughout the year at the Ormskirk Campus.
If you cannot attend one of these events, we also hold information sessions at selected outreach centres and the Faculty of Education is fully accessible at all general Edge Hill University open days.
Ormskirk Campus
Open evenings at the Ormskirk Campus provide a great opportunity for you to find out about the range of innovative, and often unique, education courses we offer.
Discover how we have been successfully training the teachers of tomorrow for 125 years and how we are also now leading the way in the training and development of all members of the school workforce on one of the following dates:
- Education Open Evening - Thursday 15th March 2012, 6pm-8pm - Book Now
- Education Open Evening - Thursday 3rd May 2012, 6pm-8pm - Book Now
You will have the chance to visit the Faculty of Education's £9 million Centre of Excellence, listen to presentations, receive advice and guidance, familiarise yourself with the application process and learn what financial support may be available.
Wirral Professional Excellence Centre, Bromborough
If you want to find out more about the Faculty of Education's programmes available to study at Wirral Professional Excellence Centre in Bromborough, we have open evenings on the following dates:
- Education Open Evening - Tuesday 21st February 2012, 4pm-6:30pm
- Education Open Evening - Tuesday 29th May 2012, 4pm-6:30pm
Tutors will be on-hand at each open evening to offer advice and guidance on the courses available and you will also be able to learn about the application process, funding and much more. There is no need to book in advance.
Shrewsbury College of Art and Technology
If you want to find out more about the Faculty of Education's programmes available to study at Shrewsbury College of Art and Technology, we have open evenings on the following dates:
- Education Open Evening - Thursday 16th February 2012, 4pm-6:30pm
- Education Open Evening - Tuesday 15th May 2012, 4pm-6:30pm
