With £130 million invested on campus developments in the last decade, and with £200 million earmarked for further expansion plans, the campus is set to continue to evolve.
The latest development, a £13.5 million Student Hub, opened in September 2011, creating a one-stop shop for all student needs, housing a number of the University's student services, retail and dining areas in one place for the first time.

Education
The state-of-the-art faculty building is the the hub of Education teaching activity on campus.
Opened in 2004, the £9 million centre houses a 300-seat lecture theatre, well-equipped IT suites, teaching rooms and a model school classroom.

Health and Social Care
Our innovative £14m Faculty of Health and Social Care building provides some of the best facilities for health undergraduates in the country.
The leading edge clinical skills facilities are designed to give students as realistic a learning experience as possible and include ward simulations, operating theatres and robot-style mannequins that can simulate everything from pregnancy to a temperature.
Media
Our dedicated facilities for creative media in the CMIST building include MAC studios with audio and video editing equipment, digital dark rooms, and the latest software such as Final Cut Pro and Stop Motion Pro.
There are also extensive facilities for media students in the Learning Innovation Centre, including a HD-tapeless and 3D-ready television studio, animation studio and bi-media newsroom.

Performing Arts
The excellent performance environments in our £5 million Performing Arts Centre include two theatres, dance studios, black box drama studios, rehearsal rooms, a theatre construction workshop, digital sound studio, digital design suite, theatre design studios and a costume construction area.
The professional venues on campus are fully equipped to give you practical experience of professional standard theatre creation.

Sport
Sport students have access to dedicated biomechanics, physiology and kinanthropomentry laboratories, a sport and exercise rehabilitation centre and sports therapy clinic.
The University's sports complex also provides 25 acres of playing fields, an athletics track, a fitness suite, swimming pools, four-court sports hall, squash courts, floodlight Astroturf pitches and tennis and netball courts.
Departmental facilities are complemented by the University library, giving you access to thousands of books, journals, online resources and study spaces. Extensive IT and multimedia provision is available in the Learning Innovation Centre.
