Trish Prescott - Learning and Teaching Fellowship Profile

I am a Senior Lecturer based in the Faculty of Health.

I am a member of the Continuous Professional Development (CPD) team currently based at the Aintree campus and I work with a range of health and social care practitioners.  I am involved in a range of modules and my particular areas of interest are teaching and learning, the facilitation and assessment of reflection, health and social policy, leadership and quality.  I also act as Practice Development Unit (PDU) facilitator for a PDU accreditation tool, which was developed through close partnership working between education and practice. 

My fellowship is based around three foci - supporting the introduction of Action Learning Sets within the pre-registration curriculum, an exploration of the learning in practice and examining the perceptions of lecturers who facilitate reflection.
