Employed by South Sefton Adult Education 1987-2001:
Programmer Leader for Access Programmes Social Sciences and Co-ordinator for Certificate of Education Post 16.
Promoted to the position of Curriculum Manager for South Sefton Adult Education: roles included working with disadvantaged groups, helping to design, and fund community educational projects such as family learning, this also included teaching in prisons.
Worked as an external examiner for AQA, and OCNW.1997-2000
Worked as consultant for Liverpool Lifelong Learning/ carried out several staff development sessions around Pedagogical Practice/Curriculum Design 2000-2002.
Liverpool John Moore’s: Teaching BA Honours Degree ‘Education Studies’. Senior Lecturer 2002-2003.
Joined Edge Hill as a Senior Lecturer in 2003 after working for LJMU.
