Dr Paul Greenbank

 

Paul Greenbank is a Reader in Educational Development. He is course leader for the Post-Graduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching Support in Higher Education. Before joining the Teaching and Learning Development Unit he was a lecturer in Business and Management in the Business School at Edge Hill. Prior to this Paul was a lecturer at Wigan College of Technology and Lancashire Polytechnic  and a researcher in the Centre for Educational Development and Training at Manchester Polytechnic.

 

Paul’s research interests are in education and widening participation. His most recent research has been on student decision-making, foundation degrees and the undergraduate dissertation process. He has published over thirty refereed journal articles and has carried out research for the Higher Education Careers Service Unit and Aimhigher. Paul is on the Editorial Board for Teaching in Higher Education and has acted as a referee for the Journal of Further and Higher Education and the Economic and Social Research Council.
