Claire Penketh

Claire Penketh is Research Officer for the Teaching and Learning Development Unit. As part of her role she is currently researching via a range of projects related to student experiences.

In addition to this research role she has convened the Academic Writing Research and Development Group (AWRDG) aimed at exploring current issues related to students and staff engagement with the notion of ‘academic writing’. The group provides regular opportunities for dialogue, the sharing of experiences and resources and the promotion of the use of current literature.

Claire is also a part-time research student at Goldsmiths College researching the experiences of secondary pupils in art and design with a particular emphasis on the concept of cultural exclusion for those considered ‘neurologically different’.
