Returning to Study
Results show that people returning to study are just as successful as students attending directly from sixth form. Nevertheless, we recognise that returning to study and starting a university programme can be a daunting prospect.
Ann-Marie Johnson, Pre-Entry Advice & Guidance Officer at Edge Hill University, knows what it's like returning to study after a break from education. An Edge Hill graduate herself, Ann-Marie provides advice via telephone, e-mail and face-to-face to prospective Edge Hill students.

Change Direction
'Change Direction' is a series of events for those looking to return to study after a break away:
- Changing Direction: Routes into Teaching and Education - Tuesday 9th March 2010 (2pm-4pm), Tuesday 13th April 2010 (2pm-4pm)
- Changing Direction: Routes into Health and Social Work - Tuesday 16th March 2010 (2pm-4pm)
Whether a return to study is going to be the start of something new for you, maybe a complete change of career direction, or a way of moving on in your current job you are welcome to attend. There will be talks about the options available, presentations on issues such as student finance and the chance to hear student perspectives on Higher Education. The 'Change Direction' events are the ideal opportunity to receive advice and guidance and find out what it's like to return to study at Edge Hill University.
