Please note, this information relates to full-time programmes for international students at Edge Hill University commencing between September 2011 and August 2012 only.

- BA / BSc / LLB: £9,900;
- MA / MSc / LLM: £10,200;
- MBA: £10,950;
- International Foundation Programme: £6,950;
- Pre-Masters Programme: £9,900;
- Pre-Sessional English: Variable, dependent on length of programme.
Payable
- £1,000 deposit payable before formal confirmation of a place on a course.

- Yes, free insurance covering health and possessions is available on certain programmes were the full tuition fee applies.
Tuition Fees
The tuition fee for international students starting in September 2011 is £9,900 for all taught undergraduate programmes and £10,200 for taught postgraduate programmes, excluding the MBA. The tuition fee for Edge Hill University’s MBA is £10,950. Although the fee for students starting a course in 2012/13 may increase, you will pay the same fee for each following year of your course.
Tuition fees for the International Foundation Programme (IFP) are £6,950 for academic year 2011/12. The Pre-Masters Programme will cost £9,900 for those joining the course in September 2011 or January 2012. The fees applicable to Pre-Sessional English courses depend on the length of programme chosen. The 3-week course is free, the 6-week option £1,380, and the 12-week route £2,760 for academic year 2011/12.

Scholarships
International students may apply for an Edge Hill University International Student Scholarship (students on the International Foundation Programme can apply once they have progressed onto a degree). The scholarship is worth up to £2,000 towards the cost of living on campus.
You may also be eligible to apply Edge Hill University's Excellence Scholarships, worth £1,000 over 1 year for PGCE students and £2,000 over 3 years for undergraduates, awarded for excellence in creative arts, performing arts, sport and volunteering.
Free Insurance
At Edge Hill University we understand the need to support our international students, and are therefore pleased to be able to arrange an insurance policy covering health and possessions free of charge to international students paying full fees on certain programmes in the UK.
This will cover the cost of things such as emergency dental treatment, legal expenses and lost luggage. Terms and conditions apply, the insurance cover is provided by a third party, and you should consider your own insurance needs.
Financial Support
Edge Hill University does not receive any funding from the UK Government for international students, and therefore such students are responsible for their fees in full.
Some countries may provide financial assistance to their students who choose to study overseas. You should contact your own government’s education ministry to check this. The British Council can also provide advice on external sources of funding and sponsorship that you may be eligible to apply for.
Living Costs
You will also need to budget for your living expenses and books. It is much less expensive to live in the North West than London or South East England, but you should still budget £5,500-£6,000 per year for living expenses although this will vary from person to person.
