Early Years and Playwork
The first five years of life are critical in children's development. High quality early years provision is important to help children achieve their potential, working in partnership with parents and families. Such a level of provision requires a highly motivated and well-trained workforce who like and want to be with children.
Edge Hill University offers a choice of pathways to become an Early Years Professional by gaining Early Years Professional Status. A range of other Early Years programmes are also available, including foundation degrees, BA (Hons) degrees and a professional development pathway. New for 2009, we're offering fully-funded training for managers and leaders in play.
