Academic Registry
Introduction
Academic Registry’s role is to provide a framework across the University of a wide range of academic administrative functions. Areas covered by the Academic Registry include:
- The enrolment of Students/Trainees
- Updating Student/Trainee’s personal details
- Administration of undergraduate/foundation and postgraduate degree schemes
- Administration of the teaching timetable for the Ormskirk campus
- Administration of assessment, examinations and awards
- Student/Trainee related data collection activities
- Student/Trainee results and transcripts of results
- Ceremonies
- Student/Trainee tuition fees and control of tuition fee debtors
- Administration of bursaries
- Administration of Student/Trainee records
- General room bookings
The Academic Regulations provide the framework for the conduct of the University’s academic activities from admission to confirmation of final award. The Academic Registry Department is based in the Student Information Centre and is split into operational teams.
