The Student Information Desk

We’d like to tell you a bit about what we do on the Student Information Desk, and how you can get help in a variety of areas; some are obvious but others might surprise you!

The Student Information Desk is your “One-Stop-Shop” for all enquiries relating to life at Edge Hill University. We act as the hub for the Student Information Centre and although we are part of Student Services we can provide practical help in many areas. The Student Information Desk is your main interface with the Finance Team, Accommodation Team, Academic Registry, Inclusion Team and countless other areas within the Institution.

It’s vitally important that you remember that throughout your studies at Edge Hill you are not alone, if you require any advice on any subject, or just want to talk to someone, we're here!

Here’s a snapshot of the areas we can help you with:

• Finance Matters (money management and financial help)
• Appointments with the Finance & Welfare Officers
• Term Dates
• Room Locations (an important one if you’re a first year, or a third year for that matter!)
• Exam Dates (it helps to know when they are & where you are going!)
• Complaints (we hope you won’t have any!)
• Academic Registry (we’ll point you in the right direction)
• Forms (if you get stuck, don’t worry, come and see us)

Just pop in to see us and we’ll point you in the right direction no matter what your query. We also have a variety of brochures and leaflets on everything from childcare to special events, so whatever you need to know the chances are we’ll know about it!
