Student Sport

We employ a number of elite coaches to help coach the university sports clubs for the 2011-12 season. These coaches plan and deliver high quality coaching to the individual teams within the student clubs and attend match days as team manger when competing in the British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) competitions:

If you are interested in coaching at Edge Hill in the future then complete a Student Sport coach application form ( see below ) and send for the attention of Paul Greenwood at Sporting Edge.

Head coaches must hold the relevant NGB qualification at minimum level 2 (preferably 3) and have several years experience of coaching at a high standard.

Assistant coaches require minimum level 1 (preferably 2). Positions are for a approximately 26 weeks a year for various hours per week depending on the team. It is desirable that the coach should be also be available for attendance at BUCS matches which usually take place on Wednesday afternoons.

Rates of pay are paid according to the level of qualification held and are in the range of £10 - £25 per hour.

 

Sporting Edge is also seeking a number of individuals who can join the bank of casual staff to provide cover as required :

For all positions previous experience is preferred and all require an Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau disclosure.
