SOLSTICE Centre
The SOLSTICE Centre has a range of flexible spaces that have been designed to enable collaborative and group-orientated activity. The design was informed by the evaluation of the first (temporary) SOLSTICE space which used an ethnography-influenced approach.
The Centre is more than just spaces; it is a ‘hub’ of expertise, housing the core SOLSTICE team and the Learning Technology Development team along with the following high quality, technically-enhanced spaces:
Two multi-function rooms designed to suit any set up style.
The Box - offering a comfortable, space for meetings and interviews for up to eight people
The Learning Technology Development Office. This space houses the LTD team and offers up to four ‘hot desk’ facilities for colleagues wishing to set up a temporary base within the hub.
The Centre is located on the lower ground floor of the Faculty of Health building with access from the entrance adjacent to the faculty of Education building or by lift from the main entrance on the ground floor.
