Evening Seminar

Learning Environments for the Future: physical, technological and other spaces
What works and how do we know? What is the research agenda? Is it possible to predict the future?
The evening seminar was a great success, with 40 delegates in attendance. The seminar was held in the new SOLSTICE Centre, which is located in the brand new Faculty of Health Building at Edge Hill University (Ormskirk campus) . The seminar was organised in the style of the BBC 'Question Time' programme and the panel were asked to respond to questions from the audience relating to the seminar's 3 key issues:
- Identifying current research approaches, and their appropriateness in addressing the research agenda
- The setting of new research directions as tenets for a contemporary agenda
- Debate and future gazing

The seminar panel consisted of:

- Dr Marlena Kruger - Director for Centre for Technology Assisted Learning, University of Johannesburgh, South Africa
