Come to our Fellowship meeting and find out what goes on!

As part of the University’s Learning and Teaching and SOLSTICE Fellowship schemes we hold regular fellowship meetings where fellows from across the University come together to share their work and experiences.

As part of our next meeting on Thursday 26th January 2012 we would like to invite Edge Hill University colleagues to attend the part of the meeting where 3 of our Fellows will be giving presentations as detailed below:

Presentation 1 – Online Marking: What, Why and How?  What do we mean by online marking, why do we need to do it and how can we achieve a quality process that enhances the students’ experience?
with Jacqui Basquill, Senior SOLSTICE Fellow, Faculty of Education

Presentation 2 – Learning in Action: engaging students in their learning through Action Learning Sets (ALS) – ALS the what, the why and the how? with Trish Prescott, Learning & Teaching Fellow, Faculty of Health and Social Care

Presentation 3 – Creative Use of PowerPoint: how one of my powerpoints turned into a movie, a step by step guide of how you can achieve this too with Judith Ball, SOLSTICE Fellow, Faculty of Health and Social Care

If you would like to learn more about any of the above topics as well as see the fellowship scheme in action please do come along next Thursday.  The presentations will start at 12:45 and finish at 14:00 and will take place in E20 in the Faculty of Education.

Many thanks we look forward to seeing you next week.
Amanda
