Conference Dinner

In 2011 our conference will bring together speakers and visitors from around the world to discuss geographical perspectives on environment and health. With this in mind, our conference dinner will take place at the Alma de Cuba Restaurant and Bar in the heart of Liverpool. Liverpool has a long heritage and connection to global trade and is culturally and geographically very exciting and interesting. The Alma de Cuba reflects that global culture and the geo-connections to the world village.

So, we most warmly welcome you to join us on Wednesday April 13th 2011 at the Alma de Cuba for dinner and drinks and for what we hope will a truly memorable experience.

The award winning restaurant and bar (Best Bar, Best Restaurant and the UKs Best Venue 2008, 2009 & 2010) will be exclusively ours for the early evening but will open to our delegates and guests from 8.30pm.

Alma de Cuba Conference Dinner [PDF]

Transport will be provided from the university campus to the Alma de Cuba. For delegates staying in Ormskirk or Southport, return transport will also be available. Alternatively, guest staying in Southport can return easily by rail though the last train from Liverpool Central Station is 11.16pm.
