Preston To Ormskirk
By Train
Trains operate between Preston and Ormskirk with services leaving roughly every 1 hour 20 minutes. Journey times vary between 28 and 31 minutes. Tickets cost around £2.70 (single) and £5.20 (return). Southport to Ormskirk

Reaching Ormskirk By Road
via the M6, off at junction 26, then onto the M58, off at junction 3, taking the A570 towards Southport and Ormskirk. The campus can also be reached from Preston or Liverpool via the A59.

VISA and Documentation
Everyone entering UK must have a valid passport, or in the case of European Union Member States, a national identity card. Visas are required for some countries and delegates should check before they travel.
It can take up to 8 weeks to process a visa application and early application is recommended. The Organising Committee or the Conference Secretariat will not accept any responsibility for visa applications.
Where a delegate is unable to attend because of failure to obtain a visa on time, the normal cancellation policy for registration fee and accommodation will apply.
Insurance
Delegates are strongly advised to arrange their own personal insurance to cover medical and other expenses including accident, illness, theft or loss. The organizing committee and its agents do not accept responsibility for any of the above. Where a delegate has to cancel for medical reasons, the normal cancellation policy will apply. It is recommended that citizens from EU countries bring with them a current European health Insurance Card.
About Edge Hill University
Edge Hill University's Ormskirk campus is located between Liverpool and Preston in West Lancashire.
Ormskirk is easily accessible via the A59 or A570, just a few miles from the M58, with good public transport links by rail from Liverpool Central and Preston. A dedicated Edge Link bus service operates throughout the day, six days a week, between Ormskirk town centre and Edge Hill University.
In addition to programmes delivered in Ormskirk, a number of study centres offer the opportunity to study Edge Hill University courses throughout the North West, Shropshire and further afield.
