Nomination Scholarships: Chancellor
To celebrate Professor Tanya Byron's installation as Edge Hill's first Chancellor, the University has inaugurated the Chancellor's Scholarship to reward students who help raise the profile of Edge Hill in a positive way through their exceptional contribution to the University.

Eligibility
Full-time students in year 2 of an undergraduate degree are eligible to be considered for this award.
Categories
Contribution to the University might be shown through:
- Peer mentoring;
- Acting as a Course or Committee representative;
- Student Ambassador;
- Volunteering in the community;
- Leading a sports team, an arts event or a special project;
- Fundraising;
- Any activity which raises the profile of the University in a positive way.
How do I apply?
There is no application process for the Chancellor's Scholarship.
A selection panel will judge nominations received from University staff who can download a nomination form [PDF]. Please note, this is a nomination form for staff only, not an application form.
You are encouraged to speak to your tutor or any member of staff from the University to discuss your individual situation and desire to be considered for the award. The deadline for nominations for 2012/13 Chancellor's Scholarships is Monday 28th May 2012.
If you are selected to receive a Chancellor's Scholarship you will be notified by the end of June 2012. Recipients will be invited to the Scholarships Presentation Evening in the autumn.
