How to Book

By telephone

To book a ticket for any performance please call the Box Office on 01695 584480. We accept all major debit/credit cards except American Express and there are no extra booking or postage charges for this facility.

There is also a 24 hour answer phone so you can leave a message if no-one is available to take your call and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Please do not leave your debit/credit card details on the answerphone.

Ticket enquiries can be emailed to the Box Office staff at Rose@edgehill.ac.uk. For security reasons, please do not e-mail credit/debit card numbers with your reservation

In Person

Rose Theatre Box Office

The Box Office is housed in the Performing Arts Centre, and normally open between 12:00pm and 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, and until 8.00pm on performance nights.
The Box Office is only open at weekends when there is a performance.

Edge Hill Main Reception Desk

Tickets can be purchased here using cash or cheque only, Monday to Friday between 8am and 5pm. You will receive a voucher for your tickets. Customers purchasing tickets this way, will be allocated best possible seats available. If you have any special seating requirements, please make this known at the time of purchase. Please bring your voucher to the Box Office where they will be exchanged for formal tickets.

Ormskirk County Information Centre (CIC)

Tickets can also be purchased from the CIC, Ormskirk Bus Station, Moor Street. Open Monday to Saturday, 9.30pm - 5.30pm. Telephone 01695 579062.

You will receive a voucher for your tickets. Customers purchasing tickets this way, will be allocated best possible seats available. If you have any special seating requirements, please make this known at the time of purchase. Please bring your voucher to the Box office before the performance where it will be exchanged for formal tickets.

Buy Online

You can book full price, over 60s and under 16s ticket(s) using our secure online booking facility. From the What's On, click on the performance that you would like to see, and then choose the orange 'Book Tickets' link. You can then select your seat(s) and buy your tickets online. There are no extra booking or postage charges for this facility.

Concessionary Seats

Concessionary tickets are available to students, over 60's, ES40 holders, registered disabled and children under the age of 16. You may be asked for relevant Identification for concessionary tickets.

Group/School Bookings

For group/school booking enquiries, please contact the Box Office or email rose@edgehill.ac.uk

One free ticket is available with every ten tickets bought.

Schools/Colleges receive the concessionary rates and may pay for tickets via invoice arrangement. If you require posters/flyers to help promote your theatre trip, please contact the box office.

If your group - including schools/colleges - would like a bite to eat before the performance, visit Edge Hill University's state of the art 'Hub' for Eating & Drinking on campus.

Ticket Exchange

Tickets may be exchanged for another performance at the discretion of the Box Office. It is only possible to resell tickets via the Box Office once a performance is sold out.

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully as they apply to all bookings and visits to the Rose Theatre.

Access

Parking for patrons with disabilities is available close to the theatre. For further information, please contact the Box Office on 01695 584480 or email the Rose rose@edgehill.ac.uk

The Rose Theatre is accessible at ground level, with wheelchair spaces on the centre block front row of the auditorium.

The Studio Theatre is also accessible at ground level with provision for wheelchair spaces in the front row.

Both theatres offer an induction loop linked to a PA system for hearing impaired.

Guide dogs are welcome, and water will be provided on request.
