As part of the MAking PerforMAnce season, Edge Hill University Performing Arts Department present Five & Doris by Shane Betteridge at The Lantern Theatre, Liverpool.

In Five & Doris, a series of inter-locking comic monologues, the strangeness of our lives is lived out in encounters with uncannily familiar characters. The realities of working class life are captured in snapshots of passion, addiction, dedication and inebriation; followed of course by tea and a biscuit with the characters. Doris is all alone now.
