In April 2005 Friends of Folk held its first gig which was intended to be a one-off!  Many gigs later and to celebrate the 5^th anniversary, Friday 30 April 2010 will be a great evening with friends old and new. The artistes invited to perform are Maddy Prior, Abbie Lathe, Ken Nicol, The Bailey Sisters, Chris & Siobhan Nelson, Andrew Keeling, Simon Fox, and Blackheart.

The night will also celebrate a new partnership between the Rose Theatre and Friends of Folk aimed at bringing the best of folk and acoustic music to this wonderfully intimate venue.
