Paul and Kieran Dance Theatre present My Name Is.

Tickets £8.50 / £6.50 concessions.

It's in the post. Sometimes you have to love someone enough to let them hate you. A dad, a son, a daughter, a mother and their user friends. This new piece of visceral dance theatre presents the hopelessness of addiction and rigor of recovery, allowing the audience to consider the life of alcoholic addicts and those that witness the powerful process of escaping drugs and alcohol. This innovative performance has been developed through an extensive research and development process with recovering alcoholic addicts throughout the North West.

Paul and Kieran Dance Theatre is a collective of artists co-directed by Kieran Sheehan and Paul Bayes Kitcher. Set up in response to the growing epidemic of drug and alcohol abuse, the Company uses dance theatre to develop the lives of those affected and effected by alcohol and substance misuses. The participants' stories inspired the choreography for My Name Is.

  • Director / Choreographer: Kieran Sheehan
  • Collaborative Performer: Paul Bayes Kitcher
  • Composer: Howard Haigh

Contains some strong language and adult themes of addiction.
