Assessments & Awards

The Assessment & Awards Team are responsible for managing the administrative aspects of students’ academic assessment and award.

Included in the Team’s responsibilities are:

• Publishing Examination Timetables
• Coordinating the arrangements for examinations
• Preparing assessment information to be considered at Award and Progression Boards
• External Examiner Administration
• Producing and issuing results
• Organising Graduation Ceremonies
• Producing and issuing University certificates
• Providing verification of awards and feedback to students/trainees regarding their results

For students that experience difficulties throughout their studies, the team is also responsible for processing:

• Declarations of Exceptional Mitigating Circumstances
• Requests to repeat a year of study
• Administering Malpractice and Fitness for practice panels
• Academic Appeals
