Psychology at Edge Hill University
Edge Hill offers a variety of outstanding opportunities for studying psychology at University. We offer three very popular undergraduate degree programmes, all of which are accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS). We also offer a Postgraduate Diploma / MSc Psychology. The Diploma aims to provide graduates in disciplines other than psychology with the opportunity to obtain Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC) with the British Psychological Society (BPS). Following the Diploma students have the option to progress on to a Masters qualification in Psychology.
Students who study at Edge Hill will benefit from a research-active department with subjects taught from academics who are specialists in their fields. We have members of our team that are at the forefront of national and international research in Educational Psychology and Sports and Exercise Psychology which has allowed us to develop such a rich portfolio of undergraduate degrees.
Our Department of Psychology occupies a modern, purpose-built building with high quality teaching and research facilities. Our students are encouraged to use these research facilities for their final year dissertation projects.
