Dr Rhian Wyn-Williams
I was born and brought up in Liverpool before going to Oxford University to study history as an undergraduate and the history of art as a postgraduate. After a number of years working at the Ashmolean Museum, I resumed my studies at the university to complete a PGCE. I returned to Liverpool as a teacher and in 2005 began work on a PhD at Liverpool University, entitled ‘The Visual Language of Kingship, 1640-1653’. As well as teaching at Liverpool University, I came to the history department at Edge Hill in 2007 as module co-ordinator of the first year medieval course and now teach the History Fast Track and Fast Forward courses. I have presented my research at numerous national and international conferences.
