My favourite aspect of life here is definitely all the new people I have met, all the staff are helpful and friendly, and I’ve made some amazing friends.

“I chose Edge Hill because I liked the area and the fact that everything is contained on one campus, so it is easy to get around. Then, once I came to visit, I became aware of its great atmosphere and felt I would be treated like a person rather than simply a number.

My favourite aspect of life here is definitely all the new people that I’ve met. All the staff are helpful and friendly, and I’ve been really lucky to have made some amazing friends. I find being part of such a great environment very comforting.

I started to blog as I thought it would be a good way to become part of the University, get to know more about what’s going on and offer new students help and advice.

Apart from going out and enjoying myself with friends in my spare time, I volunteer to help run a Brownie pack in Ormskirk which I really enjoy.

I’d say to anyone thinking of coming to Edge Hill that it will be the best decision you ever make. Check out the campus and halls to really get a feel for the place and just ask someone if you are in need of any help or advice.”
