I also liked the structure of my creative writing course and the fact that all my modules would be taught by published writers who would support and help me to develop my own writing style.
BA (Hons) Creative Writing and English
“When I visited an Edge Hill open day the campus was wonderfully presented, the staff and students were friendly and it seemed just right for me. I also liked the structure of my creative writing course and the fact that all my modules would be taught by published writers who would support and help me to develop my own writing style.
The best thing about Edge Hill life is being with all the great friends I have made. I love meeting up with them in lectures and seminars and discussing current topics and studies, not to mention our nights out in Ormskirk and beyond. My friends have become like my family!
I find that exploring the towns and cities around Edge Hill are inspirational to my stories and poems, allowing me to be creative outside of my course setting. I am currently working on the third novel in a trilogy that I began writing during my first week at Edge Hill which is set in Liverpool.
My advice to anyone would be to follow your dreams, accept as much advice as you can, study hard and enjoy student life to the full.”
