It was really important to me that I not only studied a subject that interested me, but that I did this at a university that was right for me too.

“I think Edge Hill University has a great location, it’s close to Liverpool and Manchester for whenever you want to visit and the campus has a very friendly and homely vibe, which is something I noticed on my very first visit.

I chose to study Psychology because it is a subject I enjoy and I feel it could provide me with lots of opportunities in the future. It was really important to me that I not only studied a subject that interested me, but that I did this at a university that was right for me too, not just somewhere that my friends from home were going. After considering the location, the staff and its reputation, I knew Edge Hill was the right place for me.

So that I could let people know what a brilliant place Edge Hill is and pass on my experiences I decided to become a student blogger. Another reason for this was that I found talking to students very helpful when I was choosing a university and I wanted to be able to provide this help to others too.

I feel certain that my studies will help me to realise my future ambitions and I intend to continue with my education once I graduate from this programme, whether this is through undertaking a PGCE or Postgraduate programme. ”
