Whatever your choice of course, Edge Hill University can offer you access to high-quality, cutting-edge learning resources. This includes an impressive library, IT and study support facilities, access to 15,000 e-journals, over 100 online databases, 54,000 e-books and 230,000 books and DVDs.

There's 24 hour PC access, free wireless internet across campus and teams to support students with a range of academic skills. Whether you're studying on campus or at a distance, we have the facilities and resources to support you.

University Library

The University Library stocks thousands of books, journals and other materials, as well as more than 160 workstations, 500 study spaces including bookable rooms, and a social learning space including the 'BookEnds' café.

You can access the internet, study on your own or in a group, or just relax with a coffee. Printers, photocopiers, scanners, CD writers, binding / laminating equipment and Help Desks are all available to use.

Purchasing texts to support your course is easy using the Blackwell bookshop in the University Library or online via the Edge Hill University Blackwell site. A 5% discount is available for Edge Hill University students both online and in store.

Learning Innovation Centre

Complementing the University library, the Learning Innovation Centre (LINC) contains an array of state-of-the-art IT equipment, including over 200 PCs.

The LINC also offers extensive industry-standard facilities for media students, including a high definition camera television studio, Digi Design Protools for audio post-production, and a 3D digital animation workshop.
