Consultant clinical psychologist, writer and broadcaster Professor Tanya Byron has made history by officially becoming Edge Hill University's first ever Chancellor, following her installation ceremony this weekend.

Graduates from Edge Hill University are among the most likely students in the North West to gain employment after completing their studies, according to statistics published this week.

Edge Hill University and the BBC will work together to open up pathways into employment in the media industry and develop new talent within the region.
