The future of internationalisation
Leading academics and commentators debated the changing trends of internationalisation in the higher education sector at Edge Hill University.
A number of high profile international speakers discussed the changing trends and drivers in internationalisation, focusing on current issues and misconceptions.
Listen to interviews with keynote speakers Dr Hans de Wit, a private consultant and who is Professor of Internationalization of Higher Education at the School of Economics and Management of the Hogeschool van Amsterdam; and Dr Neil Kemp OBE, who manages his own international education consultancy and has contributed to a wide range of education and training projects in over 20 countries; as well as leading academics from Edge Hill who explain why internationalisation is a key priority for the University's future.
The event was organised by the University's Centre for International Education, which runs the MA Management of International Higher Education course. The ‘open session' featured was part of the residential programme for its MA students.
