Film Studies alumni recently met on campus with staff and students for a reunion at a special one-off event with Jonathan Pryce.
The group met up over drinks and canapés to watch iconic movie Brazil, directed by Terry Gilliam, before joining the star of the film, Jonathan Pryce, in a questions and answers event to mark the University’s 125th anniversary.
Film studies alumni and students were amongst the audience that had the opportunity to ask Jonathan questions, gaining a unique insight into the career of a Hollywood actor, his time as an Edge Hill student and views on topics such the abolishment of the UK Film Council.
Jenny Barrett, Programme Leader in Film Studies and reunion organiser said: “With Film Studies reaching its 10 year milestone it was great to catch up with our alumni and to showcase what they have achieved to our current students.”
