High Achiever Scholarships
Outstanding prospective new students who want to study at Edge Hill University could be in line for a High Achievers Scholarship.
This initiative awards school leavers who score high marks in their A Levels for the 2011 entry intake and is open to those who have applied through UCAS.
Students do not apply for this scholarship, it is automatically awarded upon entry, based on students achieving 360 or more UCAS points in their ‘exams.
A payment of £1,000 is available to successful awardees, provided they apply to UCAS for a full time, undergraduate course before 15th January 2011.
Vice Chancellor John Cater said: "The campus has enjoyed much growth over the years and we are attracting more students than ever before, which is why we want to acknowledge those who have excelled in their studies by offering scholarships that recognise their remarkable achievements. This is an excellent opportunity for outstanding prospective students to reap financial rewards for their academic studies by applying to Edge Hill University and qualitying for our High Achievers Scholarship."
The University was recently awarded more than £1.5 million to create extra student places to meet the increasing demand under a new government initiative. It means that Edge Hill will have an additional 170 undergraduate places available in 2010/11 for new entrants who want to study at the award-winning campus.
Scholarship will be awarded to all students who meet the criteria. For more information, contact Anna Phelan on 01695 584171.
