The 60 star performers from 15 schools and colleges will stay on the Ormskirk campus and will learn skills from all areas of performing arts including dance, drama and physical theatre.
Linzi Garratt, the Activities For School Co-ordinator said: "The Summer School experience is very important as it offers young people a real flavour of university life, especially those pupils who have no prior knowledge or experience.
"This particular Summer School offered Performing Arts students the opportunity to work with our tutors within our extensive and well-equipped Performing Arts department, to meet like-minded students from across the North West and create a performance.
"Students were also treated to a meal and performance at The Royal Court in Liverpool. The end performance, in front of an audience of students' families, showcased the groups' hard work and exposed some real talent
"Tutors commented on the effort from the students and how their tutors back at school or college should be very proud, as they too had clearly worked hard to nurture and develop their talent."
