Edge Hill Chancellor is guest at Downing Street dinner
Edge Hill Chancellor, Professor Tanya Byron was one of the guests invited to dine at Downing Street this week.
Professor Byron joined broadcaster, Emma Freud, Olympic gold medallist, Dame Kelly Holmes and Harry Potter author, JK Rowling at the dinner, prepared by celebrity chef Jamie Oliver.
Several First Ladies from around the world were also invited to Downing Street by the Prime Minister's wife, Sarah Brown. They included Michelle Obama, First Lady of the USA Margarita Zavala, First Lady of Mexico, Svetlana Medvedeva, wife of Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and Gursharan Kaur, wife of Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
