Careers Centre light years ahead of the competition

The Edge Hill University Careers Centre has received a top award from an industry leading organisation in recognition for their excellent levels of service.

The Matrix Standard which continues to be the only national quality standard which covers the delivery of information advice and guidance services.

The assessment feedback received by the University has indicated that the Careers Centre is actually performing above the standards set by the Matrix Award.

In the report, the strengths of the service included strong connections with employers, a user friendly website, and the overall quality and accessibility of the information available to students of the University.

Head of Careers at the University, Jacqui Howe said: "The whole team is absolutely delighted with this achievement. Being told that you're light years ahead of other organisations has motivated to us to improve even further. We look forward to hearing what their feedback will be next time!"
