Alumni Network sees record registrations

A record number of graduates signed up to the Edge Hill Alumni Network at last weekend’s graduation ceremony.

The free and exclusive online community has already seen an impressive 1,500 registrations since its launch last summer and has shown no signs of slowing up.

Of course the Network is just one of many ways for graduates to continue being involved with the University once they graduate. All alumni can access a great range of benefits including careers advice, postgraduate fee reduction and library access.

Dr John Cater, Vice-Chancellor of Edge Hill University said: “We believe that the benefits you get from an association with the University should not end with graduation.”

The Alumni Team were on hand at the ceremony to gift all graduates with a free Edge Hill University alumni bag for life. These proved a huge hit with more than 300 bags being handed out during the course of the day.

The ceremony was also an ideal chance for alumni to buy some memorabilia including University scarves, ties and the ever popular Graduation Teddy, all of which will undoubtedly remind them of the fabulous days they shared here.

For a limited time only, we will be giving out more free alumni bags for life to both recent and past graduates. Contact Carl Ayre at alumni@edgehill.ac.uk or on 01695 584861 for more details.
