Planning a Healthy Career with Help from Edge Hill
Edge Hill University is providing expert careers advice to all recently qualified nurses, midwives and operating department practitioners to help them plan their futures.
The Health Careers Fair, which takes place on Thursday 7 June from 12.30pm-3.00pm at Edge Hill?s Ormskirk campus, will show health graduates many of the options open to them, from traditional employers like the NHS to the private sector, education, Armed Forces, hospice and community opportunities.
More than 40 organisations will be represented at the Fair and Edge Hill?s team of experienced careers advisers will be on hand for advice and guidance. They will also be offering a CV checking service to give health graduates the best possible chance of getting that perfect job.
Jacqui Howe, Head of Careers at Edge Hill, said: "This is an excellent opportunity for us to showcase Edge Hill's high-calibre graduates to employers in the health sector.
"We hope that it will also inform our health students and graduates of the wide ranging career opportunities that are available to them now and in the future."
