A Higher Degree of Success

Edge Hill University graduands and their families gathered to celebrate the culmination of years of research and study at the Higher Degrees Award Ceremony held at Lancaster University.

Those completing Doctorate and Masters degrees in a range of subjects, from Business and Management to History, teacher education and humanities, collected their awards at the celebratory event.

Alistair McCulloch, Dean of Research and Knowledge Transfer was keen to congratulate everyone on their success:

"Research activity at the University goes from strength to strength. We see increasing numbers of people graduating with Masters and PhDs and we are seeing new Masters developed as we expand our portfolio of courses. Almost three-quarters of our PhD students go on to develop careers in the higher education sector - well above the national average."
